. One of the tightest, most supple and abrasive resistant braided hook links on the planet. The HYDRA range has it all. HYDRA TRANSITION

The HYDRA Transition has been developed for anglers that have come from the carp fishing scene and will be targeting catfish in lakes using pellets and pop ups. Unlike the HEAVY and the EXTREME the TRANSITION is thinner in diameter but still holds good abrasion resistance properties required in catfish fishing.

This is to allow you to keep your confidence whilst you transition over to catfishing whilst learning other areas like fish care. We recommend HYDRA Transition to be used on catfish to 70lb maximum when pellet fishing in small lakes only.

Once you feel more confident in catfishing and understand the requirements needed to target bigger fish then this is when we recommend you move to the HYDRA HEAVY to target fish up-to and over 150lb in a still water environment only using pellets and pop ups..

 

HYDRA HEAVY

HYDRA heavy is the perfect choice of hook-link when targeting cats to 150lb when pellet fishing still waters for the competent angler. The Heavy has a unique braided weave making it much more abrasion resistant than our other hook links and mainlines. The best thing about the HYDRA Heavy is that it just got heavier!!

HYDRA heavy now sinks like a brick and has replaced the older outdated types of hook-link like Kevlar that fray at the ends and are much harder to work with. Using the same technology as our sinking braided mainline, the DOWNLOAD, you can now have every component in the CONCEPT range pinned to the lake bed. This will not only give you the advantage over other anglers and weary line shy catfish but without doubt put more fish on the bank for you in 2023!

The HYDRA HEAVY has brilliant abrasion resistant properties and has landed many catfish over the 180lb mark in French and 126lb in UK still waters.

 

 

HYDRA EXTREME

HYDRA EXTREME hook link is suitable to be used throughout Europe in the most challenging of environments targeting catfish over 250lb from all rivers around the world. With the extreme abrasion resistance and load capacity over 270lb this is a serious hook-link for serious big fish anglers and used by many professionals across Europe accounting for hundreds of personal best fish.
